The Bearing Witness Stories Project is a collaborative project that is dependent on your interaction and support. There are a variety of ways you can be involved, everything from sharing a story, to donating money, to interacting with the stories on this website and around the web!
Share a Story
This project will be most successful if people from all over the world contribute stories of costly discipleship to Jesus. If you have a story to share, please see the Share a Story page for more details!
Donate
The Bearing Witness Stories Project is housed by the Institute for the Study of Global Anabaptism. Any financial contribution you can make to the ISGA will help maintain this website, publish story collections, and bring church leaders together for collaboration and story-telling, among other outcomes.
Donations to the Bearing Witness Stories Project can be made in two ways:
- Donations can made online through Goshen College’s online giving form. In the “Gift Information” section, click on the option for “One-time credit card gift.” This will open a menu of options for specific fund giving. Please enter your donation amount in the box labeled “Institute for Global Anabaptism.” Any money given according to this method will be sent directly to the Institute for the Study of Global Anabaptism and contribute to the advancement of the Bearing Witness Stories Project.
- If you prefer to donate via check, please make it out to “Institute for the Study of Global Anabaptism” and indicate “Bearing Witness” in the memo line. Checks may be sent to:

Translation
As the Bearing Witness Stories Project grows, we hope to make stories and other content available in a variety of languages. Initially, we will focus on translating English content into Spanish, French, and German, although in the future we anticipate multidirectional translation (Spanish to English, German to French, etc.). If you are interested in volunteering to help with translation or revision of existing translations, please contact isga@goshen.edu
Join the Conversation
Even if you don’t have a story to contribute, you can still be a part of the conversation! Each of the stories profiled on this site has a comment forum. We invite you to share you thoughts and reflections on individual stories in this space. The Bearing Witness Stories Blog is an additional space to converse with others about different themes, challenges, and questions that emerge from the growing collection of stories on costly discipleship.
We also invite you to share stories that you find particularly meaningful with your friends and church family. Stories can be printed out in hard copy or shared via email, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
